2 pounds of medium lean ground beef
1/4 cup milk
1 to 2 cups breadcrumbs (enough so its not tacky)
1 pouch of onion mix (Lipton brand), OR
– 4 tablespoons onion, minced
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
6 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons soya sauce
2 cans of pineapple chunks in pineapple syrup/juice
1 large preen pepper, chopped
Combine all Meatball ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Create 1/2 inch balls and fry in a frying pan until brown. Set aside.
In a large sauce pot, mix brown sugar and corn starch with fork to remove clumps. Stir in pineapple syrup, and bring to a medium low to melt. Add in vinegar and soya, then reduce heat and stir often until thickens a little. Add pineapple chunks and cooked meatballs and mix gently. Add green pepper and mix.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes, then remove from heat… Enjoy.
